PayPal Consumer Website Rebrand

The project goal was to rebrand the PayPal consumer website and establish updated design foundations. I translated the new visual direction, provided by the brand team, into an evolved design system by building additional components, defining interaction specs, and creating reusable templates that streamlined the reskin of existing web experiences while ensuring consistency across products.

Process

I evolved the visual direction into comprehensive components in our library, defining behaviors that brought the system to life. Each page was re designed with its own storytelling, ensuring the rebrand felt intentional and user-centered rather than a simple reskin. In addition to updating existing experiences, new pages were created to support upcoming products, where I collaborated closely with stakeholders to shape their narrative and translate business goals into compelling user experiences. I partnered with PMs and engineers throughout the process, providing detailed specs to ensure smooth implementation.

Solution

The outcome was a strengthened design system and reusable templates that brought consistency to the Consumer experience and allowed the team to scale the rebrand efficiently across products.
